You can obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) at 18 years of age. However you will be required to drive only within the state of Massachusetts until you are 21.

I have my CDL permit, am I required to complete classroom training?

By law, if you enroll in a tractor-trailer training school you must complete 40 hours of classroom training. This is required by both the Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure and the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles. We require all students to have their DOT medical certificates and Class A or B CDL learner’s permit prior to being placed on a class list.

What does the CDL course include?

Our courses are constantly updated to comply with the latest standards set forth by the Department of Education & Transportation and the Registry of Motor Vehicles. You will train with professional truck driving instructors who will give 100% and expect 100% in return.
